Over 2000 Leave For APC in Kogi

A political group under the  platform of the All Progressives Congres, (APC) support group, Team Gamji, has received over 2000 people from various political parties into the APC during their victory walk for Asiwaju and Shettima in Okene,  Kogi State.

According to the organisers, the movement  attracted APC supporters from across the five local councils of the Kogi central senatorial district.

 

Speaking during the Walk, the chairman of  Gamji Coalition for Asiwaju, Alhaji Muhammed Sule (Sunday SEA),  noted that it was a demonstration of their unalloyed support for the Asiwaju presidency in 2023.

“What we are doing today is on behalf of our patron and leader Alhaji (DR) Sanusi Abubakar Gamji who is the Director Protocols and Events North presidential campaign council and also double as Coordinator Kogi state independent campaign council and Chairman committee on Data, Research and Verification of the independent campaign council ensured the success of this gathering.

While receiving the decampees, Alh. Sule assured them that they will not be seen as new comers but they will also partake of whatever dividends is accrued to all members of the party.

Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Saliu Omeiza said their decision to join the APC was to enable them have a voice and be part of progressives.
