Blogger Sues Tacha Over Allegations Of Human Trafficking

Nigerian writer and blogger Toby Emmanuel, popularly known as Tobywrites, has initiated legal proceedings against former Big Brother Naija housemate Natacha Akide, aka Tacha, following a series of explosive allegations made online.

The lawsuit follows a heated exchange on X (formerly Twitter), where Tacha allegedly accused the blogger of human trafficking and involvement in the abuse of thousands of individuals. Emmanuel has categorically denied these claims, describing them as reckless and defamatory.

In a legal document shared online, Emmanuel’s lawyers demanded millions of naira in damages for the harm caused to his reputation.
Further complicating the matter, the blogger has reportedly submitted a petition to Guinness World Records regarding Tacha’s standing with the organisation, though the specific details of the petition remain private.

The feud reportedly began after Emmanuel published an exposé alleging the reality star had solicited funds from a woman dealing with a family health crisis.
