UNILORIN VC Appointed Member Of Body Of Benchers

Vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Prof. Wahab Egbewole (SAN), has been appointed member of the Body of Benchers, the apex body responsible for the governance of the legal profession in the country.

A statement by the director of Corporate Affairs, University of Ilorin, Mr Kunle Akogun, said the appointment of Egbewole was contained in a letter sent to him by the secretary to the Body of Benchers, Mr Daniel L. Tela.

The letter, dated March 31, 2026, indicated that the appointment, which takes immediate effect, is for a period of three years.
