Stakeholders of the Jigawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) have promised to purchase nomination forms for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi for the 2027 elections. They said it is appreciation of the president and governor’s purposeful leadership.

The chairman of the APC in Jigawa State, Hon. Ahmad Maikudi, revealed this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of their high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Dutse.

He said the meeting deliberated on various political developments in the state and the country, and concluded that the transformation currently taking place needs to be continued and sustained, as it is bringing positive changes to the social and economic lives of the people.

Maikudi added that the meeting also unanimously agreed to support President Tinubu and Governor Namadi as the sole candidates for the forthcoming election in their respective seats.

The chairman further stated that the scorecard of the two leaders speaks for itself, and that they have everything it takes to present to Jigawa voters as reasons to re-elect them.

“We know the people of Jigawa have confidence in the APC leadership at all levels because they have seen and enjoyed the dividends of democracy delivered by the party. However, as a tradition, we must also present the scorecard to remove any doubt or propaganda that may be spread by enemies of progress.”

“Therefore, we are informing the world that the re-election of President Tinubu, Governor Namadi, and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming general election is the only alternative to sustain the ongoing social and economic transformation.”

“The Renewed Hope agenda and Governor Namadi’s 12-point agenda are producing fruitful results, and we must resist any temptation or unrealistic propaganda to ensure they are re-elected for sustainable growth and development in Jigawa State and Nigeria at large,” the chairman declared.
