Nigerian actor and film producer Adeniyi Johnson has alerted the public to a scam involving a man in the UK impersonating him.

The actor shared online a screenshot of a chat with the same man and stated that he does not know the person and does not represent what the impersonator stands for.

The film producer further emphasises that he does not use the scammer’s phone number and does not have a manager or personal assistant.

He has advised the public to ignore chats or business proposals from the impersonator, while praying against anything that would destroy his reputation. Adeniyi urged the public to frustrate the scammer’s number with calls and report it.
