ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Organisations use the standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customers’ and regulatory requirements.

The director general of Standard Organisation of Nigeria(SON), Mallam Farouk Salim, who was represented by the deputy director, Management Systems of Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Engr. Nwaoma Oluije, presented the certificate to Rainoil Limited executives at the Rainoil head office on Monday, saying, the certification is a landmark achievement in the pursuit of service excellence and has elevated Rainoil Limited to the privileged class of Quality Management Systems Certified Organisations in the country.

According to Salim, the adoption of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system framework reflects Rainoil Limited’s vision of always providing quality products to their customers.

According to him, the certification provides Rainoil Limited with strong, globally recognised, and acceptable solutions to the challenges of managing quality and delighting customers.

The director general said Rainoil Limited will be subjected to an annual surveillance audit to ensure the continued suitability and effectiveness of the implemented quality management systems.

He lauded Rainoil Limited’s management for their dedication to process and excellence, urging them to keep the system healthy and up to date to reap the benefits of the International Organisation for Standardisation’s approach.
