Again, APC Extends Sale, Submission Of Forms, Adjusts Screening Timelines

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has for the second time, extended the sale and submission of aspirants’ expression of interest and nomination forms.

The National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka disclosed this in statement issued in Abuja on Monday.

Going by the new extension, sale of forms now ends on Wednesday while the deadline for submission is Thursday.

APC had extended the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms, as well as the submission of completed forms for the 2027 general elections to today (Monday) and tomorrow Tuesday.

Previously, the sale of forms was scheduled to run from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026, while the last day for the submission of completed forms and accompanying documents was slated Monday, May 4, 2026.

According to Morka, screening of aspirants will now take place between this Friday and Tuesday next week while list of

screened aspirants will be published by Wednesday.

Earlier, the exercise was slated from Wednesday this week to Saturday.

The statement reads: “The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved a further extension of the timelines for the sale and submission of completed aspirants’ Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as well as the screening process for the 2027 general elections.

“Key Extensions: Sale of Forms: Extended to midnight, Wednesday, 6th May 2026; Submission of Forms: Extended to midnight, Thursday, 7th May 2026; Screening of Aspirants: Friday, 8th May 2026 – Tuesday, 12th May 2026; Publication of Screened Aspirants: Wednesday, 13th May 2026.”
