United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has announced the retirement of a Non-Executive Director, Erelu Angela Adebayo, who joined the Group’s Board in August 2018.
Her retirement was announced in a notice to investors on the Nigerian Exchange on Tuesday.
According to the bank, during her tenure, Adebayo provided distinguished leadership, serving as a member of the Board Audit & Governance, Credit, Board Risk Management Committee and Board Operations & Technology Committee.
The Board of UBA in the notice signed by its Group Company Secretary , Bili Odum, expressed its deep appreciation to Erelu Angela Adebayo for her dedication and significant contributions to the Group. “The Board wishes Erelu Angela Adebayo the best in her future endeavors.” The notice read.
