The All Progressives Congress (APC) youth leaders drawn from the core Niger Delta States have begged Nigerians to bear the prevailing socio-economic hardship plaguing the system, assuring that the pains would soon give way to a new era of plenty as a the reforms inches towards the terminal point.
The youths are drawn from Edo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River and Akwa Ibom states.
During a courtesy visit to the national coordinator of the President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Prince Akpan Ikim, in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, they appealed to youths from the zone to unite and work tirelessly for the president’s re-election, promising to deliver the entire South -South at the presidential poll.
Addressing the forum, the South l-South APC Youths’ Leader, Prince Kokoyo Uhrorho, stressed the need for youths in the region, to come together and speak with one voice – to deliver the APC and the President from the opposition challenge.
According to Uhrorho, despite the harsh policies of President Tinubu – led federal government, it was necessary to endure for the reforms that would soon yield fruits, adding that the reform policies would reposition Nigeria for better future.
He said they were in the State to solicit the cooperation with the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Prince Ikim, having been tested as “a great mobilizer who will bring all youths from the zone to one fold for Tinubu’s victory in next year’s presidential elections.”
Responding, the Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Prince Ikim promised to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates across the South South region.
