Former American actress Meghan Markle, now ‘Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’, has shared two new pictures to mark daughter Princess Lilibet’s fifth birthday.

The Duchess of Sussex posted the images on Instagram on June 4. One of the photographs shows Lilibet barefoot, with her long red hair partially covering her face.

She is seen in the arms of Prince Harry, who gazes warmly at his daughter. Meghan stands beside them, smiling, with one hand resting on Harry’s shoulder.

The duchess wrote in the post: “Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili,🤍”

Another photo shared by Meghan Markle showed Princess Lilibet barefoot on the grass in the sunshine. Dressed in a summer outfit, she was seen reaching for the blooms of an agapanthus, also known as the African Lily.

Lilibet, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, was born in the United States on June 4, 2021. Her full name is Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. She is also the granddaughter of King Charles III.

She became entitled to the title of Princess when King Charles ascended the throne, in line with royal rules introduced by King George V in 1917.

Prince Harry and Meghan began using the titles Prince and Princess for their children, Archie and Lilibet, after her christening in 2023, following discussions with King Charles.
