Turkish Cup winners Trabzonspor have reportedly turned down an offer worth around €11 million from a Saudi Arabian club for Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu.
According to Turkish media outlet Takagazete, the Saudi side submitted a formal bid for the Super Eagles forward, but Trabzonspor were unwilling to sanction a transfer at the proposed valuation.
The report suggests that the interested club is expected to return with an improved offer as it continues its pursuit of the prolific striker.
This is not the first time clubs from Saudi Arabia have attempted to sign Onuachu. Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli were also reported to have had a bid rejected during the January transfer window.
Onuachu enjoyed a sensational 2025/26 campaign, finishing as joint-top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig and cementing his reputation as one of the division’s most lethal forwards.
The 32-year-old played a pivotal role in Trabzonspor’s successful season, helping the club secure the Turkish Cup and scoring twice in the final victory over Konyaspor.
His impressive performances have attracted interest from several clubs, but Trabzonspor appear determined to retain their star striker unless a significantly improved offer is received.
