Nigeria’s Super Eagles have retained their 26th position in the latest FIFA men’s world rankings released on Thursday, showing no movement despite a mixed run of friendly results over the past month.

The three-time African champions, now under the technical guidance of Éric Chelle, played four international friendlies since early June.

They kicked off with a 2–2 draw against Poland in Warsaw, followed by a 2–1 loss to Portugal in Leiria on Wednesday night.

Earlier last month, the team featured in London’s Unity Cup invitational tournament, where they secured back-to-back wins – a 2–0 defeat of Zimbabwe’s Warriors and a 3–0 triumph over Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz.

On the continental table, Nigeria remains the third-ranked side in Africa, sitting behind the Atlas Lions of Morocco and the Teranga Lions of Senegal.
