The Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Prince Ikim, has called for greater unity, discipline and coordinated grassroots mobilisation among support groups to sustain advocacy for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and ongoing national reforms.
Ikim made the call on Friday while receiving members of the Tinubu Torchbearers during a courtesy visit to the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Campaign Headquarters along Udo Udoma Avenue in Uyo.
The delegation was led by the State Coordinator of the Tinubu Torchbearers, Mrs Inyene Bassey, and comprised members of the group’s leadership structure.
Commending the delegation for its commitment to grassroots mobilisation, Ikim said support groups have a crucial role to play in promoting public understanding of government policies and strengthening citizen engagement.
According to him, Nigeria is currently undergoing significant transformation under President Tinubu’s leadership through reforms aimed at stabilising the economy, strengthening institutions, creating opportunities for citizens and laying the foundation for long-term prosperity.
He also acknowledged the contributions of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her advocacy on women’s empowerment and inclusive participation in governance and national development.
The RHA coordinator further praised Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, for what he described as impactful governance through the ARISE Agenda, noting that the administration has made notable strides in infrastructure development, economic empowerment and social welfare.
Ikim stressed that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are guided by the principle of “one party, one message, one mobilisation framework,” aimed at promoting unity, discipline and strategic engagement among supporters.
He urged members of the Tinubu Torchbearers to remain committed to promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda through constructive engagement, factual communication and responsible leadership.
“Together, through collective effort, responsible citizenship and unwavering support for government policies, we can build a stronger, more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria,” he said.
Earlier, the State Coordinator of Tinubu Torchbearers, Mrs Inyene Bassey, said the group was established to mobilise support for President Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno and other APC candidates, while projecting the achievements of the current administration ahead of the 2027 elections.
She described the visit as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and reaffirm the group’s commitment to advancing the vision of the Tinubu administration.
Also speaking, the State Woman Leader and Director-General of Tinubu Torchbearers, Obongawan Obonodo Uko, highlighted the critical role of women in grassroots mobilisation and voter education, pledging expanded outreach programmes across communities.
She commended Prince Ikim for his leadership and dedication, noting that his contributions have continued to strengthen the Renewed Hope movement in Akwa Ibom State.
Members of the delegation also described Ikim as a dependable ally in advancing the Renewed Hope message and consolidating grassroots support for the APC.
