United States President Donald Trump has once again stirred conversation on social media after sharing a side-by-side throwback photos of himself and former President Barack Obama.
The post featured a young Trump in his uniform from the New York Military Academy and a young Obama during his college years at Occidental College, where he was pictured wearing a hat and smoking a cigarette.
Though Trump added no caption, many online interpreted the post as a playful jab, seemingly contrasting his disciplined military-school image with Obama’s more carefree college days.
The post is the latest chapter in the long-running public rivalry between the two leaders. Earlier this week, Obama joked that he appeared to be “living rent-free” in Trump’s head.
As expected, social media quickly turned the throwback photos into a debate, with users weighing in on who had the cooler youthful look – Team Young Trump or Team Young Obama.
