A pregnant woman unexpectedly gave birth to a baby boy after going into labour while shopping for baby items at the popular Gbagi Market in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The incident occurred when the woman, who had visited the market to purchase essentials for her unborn child, reportedly started experiencing labour pains.

According to eyewitnesses, traders and market women quickly rallied around her, converting one of the shops into a temporary delivery area to provide immediate assistance.

The woman was safely delivered of a healthy baby boy by the women at the market before she was later taken to a hospital for further medical attention.

The unusual incident attracted a large crowd of traders and shoppers as news of the successful delivery spread across the bustling market.
