Arsenal Complete Signing Of Real Madrid’s Goalkeeper Rodriguez

Arsenal Women have strengthened their squad with the signing of Spain international goalkeeper Misa Rodriguez following the expiration of her contract with Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old arrives in north London after an impressive spell with the Spanish giants, where she made 215 appearances and established herself as one of Europe’s most consistent goalkeepers. Rodriguez has also earned 24 senior international caps for Spain.

She joins an already competitive goalkeeping department featuring Daphne van Domselaar, Anneke Borbe and Isabella Damm as Arsenal continue an ambitious summer recruitment drive.

Rodriguez becomes the club’s seventh signing of the transfer window, underlining Arsenal’s determination to build a squad capable of competing for major honours both domestically and in Europe.

Her arrival follows the additions of Georgia Stanway, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci, Ona Batlle, Lisa Baum and Damm.

The Spaniard is also Arsenal’s fifth free transfer of the summer after Stanway, Batlle, Cerci and Reuteler, highlighting the club’s strategic approach to strengthening the squad while maintaining financial discipline.
