Kebbi Bans Students From Sign-Out Celebrations

The Kebbi State government has banned all sorts of celebrations by students of both public and private schools across the state popularly known as sign-out processions.

The ban was contained in a statement in Birnin Kebbi by the director of Shari’ah of the Hisbah Agency under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Sirajo Usman Kamba.

The statement further indicated that the banning of the celebrations has become necessary in order to promote discipline, morality and social order among the students across the state.

The statement directed the school’s principles, parents and guardians and other stakeholders to comply with the directives to ensure total compliance.
