WAEC Releases 2026 Results for Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

The examination body announced the development on Wednesday through its official X account, informing candidates that the results are now available for online access.

WAEC advised candidates to generate a Personal Identification Number (PIN) through its official website before proceeding to check their results on the WAEC Direct portal.

In a statement, the council said, “The 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates results have been released. Generate your PIN and check your results online.”

The examination body explained that candidates can obtain the required PIN through its official platform and subsequently access their results after completing the verification process on the WAEC Direct portal.

The release of the results comes days after WAEC postponed the publication beyond its previously scheduled date. The council had attributed the delay to operational reasons, without providing further details.

Candidates have been advised to follow the prescribed procedures on WAEC’s platforms to access their results and avoid relying on unofficial websites or third-party services.
