Tottenham Accept Juventus Loan Bid For Vicario

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to loan goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to Juventus, with a non-mandatory £8.6 million purchase clause, sources confirmed. The 29-year-old Italy international will travel to Turin for his Serie A return.

The move follows Juventus’ failed pursuit of Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martínez, who remains sidelined with a finger injury. Vicario lost his starting role under Spurs manager Roberto de Zerbi last season to Antonin Kinsky, whom de Zerbi has confirmed as his No. 1 for the new campaign. Veteran Martin Dubravka, signed from Burnley in July, will serve as backup.

Vicario, who joined Spurs from Empoli for £17.2 million in 2023, made 117 appearances for the club. His exit is part of a broader overhaul at Tottenham, which has seen six new signings, two more attacking targets pursued, and multiple first-team departures—including captain Cristian Romero, Djed Spence, and Yves Bissouma.
