Osun Commissioner Confirms Adeleke’s Convoy Attack in Osogbo

Osun State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, has confirmed the attack on the convoy of Governor Ademola Adeleke, shortly after he left the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Olanipekun

Adeleke,vwho had earlier received his Certificate of Returns from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo had gone to show appreciation to the monarch in his palace at Ojaba, Osogbo.

Alimi said just as the convoy of the governor was filing out of the monarch’s palace, hoodlums attacked the convoy shooting sporadically thereby causing panic in the area.

“They are hoodlums, and the governor’s security repelled them. They attacked the governor’s convoy at Ataoja’s palace. No casualty,” Alimi said.
