1,078 Corps Members Pass Out In Anambra

A total of 1,078 corps members in 2025 Batch “B” Stream 11 have completed their mandatory one-year national service in Anambra State.

The outgoing corps members comprised 395 males and 687 females.

The state coordinator, NYSC Anambra State, Mrs Pauline Ojisua, during the ceremony at the Awka-South LGA headquarters, Awka, yesterday, presented “Certificates of National Service” (CNS) to some of the deserving corps members.

The passing-out activities took place simultaneously at the headquarters of the other 20 councils across the state.

Meanwhile, four corps members were sanctioned with extension of service for 106, 104, 66 and 100 days, respectively, while eight corps members who absconded service were sanctioned to repeat the service year in accordance with NYSC rules and regulations.

The NYSC co-ordinator praised the corps members for their contributions to the development of their places of primary assignment and host communities during the one year mandatory national service.

The State Coordinator urged them to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC Scheme and continue to contribute meaningfully to national development.
