It is not clear how much the kidnappers were paid as ransom to get the DPO released at the time of filling this report.

A family member who does not want his name in print because he was not authorised to speak told LEADERSHIP that the police officer has regained his freedom and has been reunited with his family.

Meanwhile, the police public relations officer of the Plateau State Command, DSP Alfred Alabo could not be reached to confirm the release of the DPO at the time of filling this report.
