The West Africans took control early, with T. Rafiu opening the scoring in the seventh minute to give Nigeria a 1-0 lead at half-time.
Nigeria continued their dominance after the restart, with J. Akekoromowei doubling the advantage just two minutes into the second half.
England struggled to find a response as the Falconets remained in control, and M. Mamudu put the result beyond doubt in the 72nd minute with Nigeria’s third goal.
The emphatic victory sends Nigeria into the quarter-finals after a clinical display against the Young Lionesses.
Akekoromowei’s goal adds to her growing impact at the tournament; the forward joined Benfica in July and has been part of Nigeria’s U-20 campaign.
