Nollywood actress Rita Dominic has publicly mourned the death of legendary actor Olu Jacobs.
On one of her social media pages, she described him as an icon and legend, saying he was a gift to the film industry. According to her, Jacobs was an exceptional talent who inspired generations and played a remarkable role in building and shaping the industry.
She expressed gratitude and said she was privileged to have worked alongside him, learn from him and experience his greatness firsthand. She said his kindness, wisdom, and remarkable legacy will remain with her forever.
Rita added that he has left a huge void in their hearts and bade him farewell.

Yul Edochie aos that Olu Jacobs’ death hit him hard, noting that Olu was one of the greatest actors from the African continent, a consummate thespian,and a legend. Yul recalled working with him and appreciated the legacy he left behind and the kind words he always gave him.
Emeka Ike shared a video of himself weeping uncontrollably, saying he didn’t get to see the veteran before his passing.
