I’d Choose Same Road That Led Me To You’ , Tinubu Celebrates Wife At 66

President Bola Tinubu has celebrated his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as his truest friend, confidante and a woman who has stood by him through every season of life.

The President, in a heartfelt birthday message personally signed by him on Sunday, said he would choose the same path that led him to his wife if he had the opportunity to start life over.

“ If life returned me to the beginning, I would choose the same road that led me to you. Through every mile, my heart has always remained at home with you,” Tinubu said.

The President praised Oluremi for her patience, grace and courage, noting that she had supported him through difficult times and remained a source of counsel and comfort.

According to him, his wife often understood his needs before he expressed them and spoke to him honestly, even when he would rather not hear what she had to say.

“I call you my truest friend and confidante because you speak the truth plainly, even on the days I would rather not hear it,” he said.

Tinubu also acknowledged his wife’s contributions to their family, saying their children and grandchildren had grown up under the shelter of her prayers and carried her values of faith and kindness.

He commended her compassion and commitment to supporting vulnerable Nigerians, citing her work through the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative.

The President noted that her efforts had reached young boys and girls, widows, elderly citizens and women farmers across the country.

He further described Oluremi as a compassionate advocate for people affected by tuberculosis and other diseases, praising her commitment to helping people irrespective of their tribe, region or religion.

Reflecting on their years together, Tinubu said their journey had been marked by difficult decisions, sacrifices, laughter and prayer.

He thanked his wife for the life they had built together and the love that had sustained their family.

“Happy 66th birthday, my darling Oluremi. I pray that God Almighty will grant you many more years in good health and joy,” the President said.

He also prayed that the years ahead would bring her the same comfort and happiness she had given him and many others.
