The burial service which took place at the Catholic Cathedral of St. Michael Bosso Road and was filled to the brim with as many groups, colleagues and religious bodies honoured the late priest.
In his homily, Very Rev. Fr. Samuel Gwimi, a senior lecturer at the Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA), described the late Father Achi as a priest who accommodated all and sundry.
He also described him as a man of God that had great act of generosity and heart for humanity and attributed the poor security architecture in the state and by extension the country to bad governance and leaders.

The Niger State government says it would build a new church in Kafin-Koro in honour of Rev. Father Achi.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, disclosed this when he led a delegation to Most Rev. Martin Uzoukwu, the Catholic Bishop of Minna at the St. Michael’s Catholic Cathedral, Minna to commiserate with the Christian community over the incident.
