Young Nigerian artiste, Testimony Ayomide Ajayi, known professionally as Testy Money ITG, has released a new single titled “GAZA” featuring Portable.

His music combines hip-hop, Afrobeats and storytelling. He also sings and writes songs. The collaboration with Portable is the latest entry in his catalogue.

Nigeria’s music industry has grown significantly in recent years, with Afrobeats gaining international recognition. Young artists like Ajayi are part of a new wave of talent emerging from various parts of the country. Ondo State, in particular, has produced several notable artists, and Ajayi is among the younger generation from the state who are seeking to build careers in music.

Collaborations are a common way for emerging artists to gain exposure. Working with an established artist like Portable may help introduce Ajayi to a larger audience. The feature is one of the most prominent credits in his young career.

In an interview with LEADERSHIP, Ajayi said his ambition goes beyond one record. He said he is focused on building a long-term career, expanding his audience and continuing to release music. He also spoke about his journey so far and his plans for the future.

Ajayi, 17, is from Igbara-Oke, Ondo State. He began developing his musical identity while in school. His earlier record, “JAGABAN,” was released while he was in school and circulated among listeners in his community and among fellow students. His stage name, ITG, stands for Inspirational, Talented and Gifted.

Ajayi said that he started music at a young age and has been working to improve his craft. He said the collaboration with Portable was a step forward in his career. He noted that he is still developing as an artist and is committed to consistent releases.

He said he is open to more collaborations and hopes to reach a wider audience with his music. He also said he is grateful for the support he has received from his community and his peers.

He said he is not rushing his career and wants to build it step by step. He said he is learning from every experience and is focused on his goals.

In the interview, Ajayi also spoke about his musical influences and his creative process. He said he draws inspiration from his life experiences and the world around him. He said he began music as a hobby, and it grew into a passion. He said he is inspired by the support he receives from his fans and his community.

He said he is aware of the challenges of the music industry but is determined to succeed. He said he is taking his time to build a solid foundation for his career.

Ajayi plans to release more singles and possibly a project in the future. He said he wants to collaborate with more artists and perform on bigger stages.
