Nollywood actress Adunni Ade is mourning the loss of her mother, who passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, following a prolonged illness.

Adunni shared the sad news on Monday, October 19, via a statement posted on her official social media page.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return,” she wrote. “With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator on October 18 after a long battle with illness.”

The actress noted that her mother left behind children, grandchildren, sisters, and loved ones. She offered prayers for the repose of her soul and requested divine strength for her family to navigate the painful loss.
