Google’s free learning platform lets you download short lessons on artificial intelligence and study them offline. Here’s how to get started.
- Open the learning site.
Connect your phone to Wi-Fi, open your browser and search for “Skilling Africa with Google.” Sign in with your Google account. You can use the site directly in your browser without installing an app.
- Pick a short lesson.
Browse the AI lessons and choose one that matches what you want to learn. The site also offers lessons on business, career development and cloud computing, which means using online services to store data or run software.
- Download before you disconnect. While you’re still on Wi-Fi, download a lesson and wait for it to finish. Then switch off mobile data and Wi-Fi. Try opening the downloaded lesson while you’re offline so you know it’s ready when you need it.
- Study at your own pace.
Work through the lesson whenever you have a few minutes. When you’re back on Wi-Fi, browse for another topic and download your next lesson.
