An auto crash claimed 15 lives while seven people were injured in Nabordo, Toro local government area of Bauchi State on Thursday.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) a trailer with registration number DKD32 XB belonging to Dangote Group and a Toyota Hiace commercial bus with registration number YLA 984XA belonging to Adamawa Sunshine Transport Corporation collided on the highway as a result of loss of control, speed limit violation and dangerous driving.

It said no items were recovered at the scene of the crash while the victims were evacuated to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi for treatment.

The corpses were deposited at the morgue of the same hospital as the rescue operation was done by a combined team of FRSC personnel and the police in the area as reported by DRC BA Isa for the officer in charge of the Zebra 30.
