The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has kicked against the formation of Interim National Government (ING) in Nigeria, stressing that such a plan was not only evil but an invitation to anarchy and confusion.

Briefing journalists in Lagos after a general executive council meeting of the Christian body, its president, Bishop Wale Oke, appealed to those who were not satisfied with the outcome of the February 25 presidential poll to wait for the outcome of the suits they filed at the tribunal.

Oke who briefed the press along with members of the national executives council of the PFN and appealed to them to  join hands in harmony to heal the nation and should not threaten to burn the nation down because the consequence will be on everybody.

“Calling for an interim National Government is an invitation to anarchy, confusion and effort to abort democracy, we don’t need an Interim National Government, let the elective process grow, we say no to the Interim National Government. We are not in a situation that requires it. It is when we have peace that we have a future for everybody.

Bishop Oke urged those who won election, not to be arrogant in their victory, advising them to be humble in their victory.

“We want to appeal to all Nigerians, government, state government, Local government and federal government, political parties, winners and losers in the election, we should have in mind that no other country can be our own, let the process of healing take place.
