Action Alliance has disowned the petition filed by some people against the outcome of the National Assembly Elections conducted on February 25, 2023 in Osun State.

Addressing journalists in Osogbo, on Wednesday, the state chairman of the party, Hon. Ogunmodede Adeloye noted that the petitioners were never fielded as candidates of the party for the respective elections they are challenging.

“It came to the notice of the National Secretariat of our party some days ago that some disgruntled elements parading themselves as the Senatorial candidates and House of Assembly candidates of AA in Osun state filed some petitions at the Tribunal on the National Assembly Elections conducted on February 25, 2023.

“Action Alliance wish to notify good people of Osun state that the said petitions are not to our knowledge and the persons who filed them are not members of our party at any time.

“Moreso, the petitioners were never fielded as respective candidates of our party for the respective elections they are purportedly challenging”.
