American rapper A$AP Rocky is set to return to Australia and New Zealand in December, announcing five arena shows as part of his Don’t Be Dumb World Tour.
The tour begins at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on December 5 before moving to Sydney on December 9. Rocky will then perform at Auckland’s Spark Arena on December 12, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 14 and Perth’s RAC Arena on December 17.
The shows will mark the rapper’s first visit to the region in eight years.
General ticket sales open on Friday, October 16, at 1 p.m. local time, following presales organised through the artist, Vodafone, Mastercard, Live Nation and Westfield.
The announcement follows Rocky’s sold-out European tour, which included 25 dates across 19 countries.
According to promoter Live Nation, the European run set regional records, including Greece’s fastest-selling rap show and record arena sales for a rap artist in Zagreb, Belgrade and Sofia.
The upcoming performances will extend the international run of Rocky’s tour, bringing the American hip-hop star back to fans across Australia and New Zealand.
