Human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has said the abducted school children and teachers of Kuriga Government Secondary and LEA Primary Schools in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State will eventually be freed.
Sani, who stated this yesterday morning on his verified Facebook page, asked Nigerians to be patient. He said the terrorists will always like to manipulate public opinion in order to exploit and extort.
Sani, a non-serving senator, who once represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District between 2015 and 2019, lamented that the past government wasted billions of dollars and left behind a legacy of terror the nation is now dealing with.

He said, “The Kaduna abducted pupils and students will eventually be freed. The ongoing efforts made by security agencies is assuring. It requires patience on the side of the public. Terrorists will always like to manipulate public opinion in order to exploit and extort the most.

“We must not give them the opportunity to achieve their aim. They abducted the children of poor people, they deserve no space of honour. I have confidence that the NSA, the service chiefs and other security agencies are all working together on this matter.
It will eventually bear fruit.
“The past Government wasted billions of dollars and left behind a legacy of terror we are now dealing with. The terrorists have limited options, we must not.”
