Abia Govt Set For Int’l Investment Summit, Exhibition

The Abia State government has concluded arrangements to organise a three-day international investment summit and exhibition in the state later this year..

Special adviser to the governor on Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnership, Green Amakwe stated this while speaking to LEADERSHIP Friday in Umuahia, the state capital.

According to him, the occasion, which will be the first of its kind is tagged “Turkey -Abia (TURAB) Investment Summit/Exhibition, 2025”

He said the summit which will! be in partnership with Vega Growing Global Enterprises is targeted at attracting investors from both within and outside the country, particularly Turkey.

“It is an FDI exposition for international and local investors to explore the possibilities and many advantages the state has as a preferred investment destination in Nigeria/Africa.” his word

Amakwe, who is the summit steering committee chairman, added that it will bring together key stakeholders from the government, the private sector and international partners in diverse fields.

He, therefore, assured of the readiness and commitment of the governor, Alex Otti in creating a more favourable investment environment for entrepreneurs in the state and foreigners alike.
