Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has felicitated with President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as a transformational leader guiding Nigeria toward progress and stability.
In a statement issued yesterday in Abeokuta, the governor congratulated the president, his family, associates and Nigerians at large, noting that he feels “immensely blessed and privileged” to serve under Tinubu’s leadership.
Abiodun lauded the president’s extensive experience in both the business and political spheres, emphasizing that his passion, vision and commitment to service are evident in his administration’s policies and direction.
He also highlighted Tinubu’s legacy as a pro-democracy figure, describing him as one of the key actors who fought for the restoration of democratic rule in Nigeria.
“President Tinubu remains at the forefront of efforts to consolidate democracy in our country,” Abiodun said, adding that his leadership continues to inspire confidence across the nation.
The governor further commended the administration’s economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel and foreign exchange subsidies, describing them as “hard but necessary decisions” aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy.
According to him, these measures have contributed to more stable petrol pricing, a predictable foreign exchange environment and improved national reserves.
He also noted that Nigeria is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for investors due to the president’s business-friendly policies, with positive impacts already being felt in Ogun State.
Abiodun concluded by praying for the president’s continued good health and wisdom, expressing optimism that Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” will deliver lasting prosperity and development for the country.
