The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has announced plans to convene its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Abuja.
The meeting, which is held in line with the committee’s constitution, will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to review activities from the past year and outline strategic objectives for the future. It is expected to serve as a key forum for reflection, accountability, and forward planning within Nigeria’s Olympic movement.
The AGM will take place at the Starview Palace Hotel, Plot 7, 4th Avenue (by Setraco Gate), Gwarimpa, and is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
According to the NOC, the gathering will function as an important stocktaking exercise, with a detailed agenda that includes a review of the committee’s 2024 programmes, presentation of audited financial reports, and the President’s annual address.
Attendance and participation at the AGM are mandatory for all Olympic and recognised non-Olympic sports federations. Expected participants include members of the NOC Executive Committee, representatives of national sports federations, members of international federation boards, and officials of the National Sports Commission (NSC).
