AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is convinced Rafael Leao was continuing to improve.
Pioli is expecting another big season from the Portugal attacker.
“Is he improving? He’s been doing it for years, every year he improves his situations with a step forward on the pitch,” said Pioli.
“He works continuously, positively and participates. I’d like him to do a few fewer runs, because he’d take the best position right from the start, but I’m sure he’ll make this improvement too,” he added.
On summer arrival of Luka Romero, Pioli also said: “He’s doing very well. I have to say he’s one of those who surprised me the most in terms of intensity and quality, he certainly falls within the choices.
“He competes with level-mates but is ready to play, then it will depend on my choices. I’m very happy for his performance, he’s willing, he’s talented.”
