ACCO Nat’l Cordinator, Leke Congratulates Tinubu On Victory

In an exciting turn of events, the Asiwaju Confluence Campaign Organization (ACCO) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu, who recently emerged victorious in the presidential election held in Nigeria. Hon. (Elder) Leke Abejide, who represents the Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and is also the Member-Elect House of Representatives of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), inaugurated the organization, which had set a target of securing over 200,000 votes for Tinubu in the Kogi state election.

Speaking on behalf of the organization, Abejide noted that his vision for the project stemmed from his keen observation of Senator Tinubu’s leadership style and track record of achievements. He expressed confidence that Tinubu was the president that could seamlessly consolidate on the gains of democracy already put in place by President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We are excited to congratulate His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu on his well-deserved victory in the presidential election,” Abejide said. “We are confident that he will lead the nation with the same level of excellence and commitment he has shown in his previous positions of authority.”

Abejide also praised the structure of ACCO, which he said had been put together to target not only over 200,000 votes within it but also hundreds of thousands of other votes from the people across the country. The Board of Trustees of the organization is chaired by Chief James Abiodun Faleke, with Seyi Tinubu as the National Youth Adviser. The structure, whose Director-General is Chief David Dare Olatunde, has a Secretary-General, Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman Ocholi, and Directorates of Operations and Special Duties, Youth and Women Mobilisation, Media and Publicity, Finance Contact and Mobilization, Protocol, and Welfare, among others.

“We would like to thank all members of ACCO for their tireless efforts in ensuring that Senator Tinubu emerged victorious in the presidential election,” Abejide added. “We are proud to have been a part of this historic moment in Nigeria’s democracy, and we look forward to a brighter future under the leadership of His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu.”

ACCO was established in February 2022, even before the emergence of Senator Bola Tinubu as the Candidate of the APC. The organization mobilized support across the country for Tinubu/Shettima in the last few months, and today, victory has finally come. The National Campaign office (ACCO HOUSE) in Lokoja was formally commissioned on Monday, 20th February 2023, in an event that had in attendance over 10,000 supporters and followers of Hon. Leke Abejide and by Extension Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

During the commissioning, which also witnessed the distribution of operational vehicles to 21 LGAs coordinators and other officials of ACCO, the Director-General of ACCO, Chief David Dare Olatunde, urged Nigerians to rally around Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Project as the duo were out to renew the hopes of Nigeria and needed the support of all Nigerians. He used the forum to thank the entire ACCO structure for their commitment in ensuring the Victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
