ACF: There Are Moves To Destabilise Us

Apex northern socio-cultural organisation, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has raised the alarm over moves by agents within and outside the group to engineer a crisis to “destabilise or annihilate the organisation”.

The forum debunked reports of a leadership change within its hierarchy, describing them as false.

In a statement issued yesterday, ACF national publicity secretary, Prof. Tukur Muhammad Baba, said it became necessary to issue a disclaimer, as directed by the national chairman, Mike Mamman Osuman, to set the record straight.

ACF said its leadership was neither aware of nor had directed anyone to state the purported change.

According him, “The attention of ACF is drawn to an announcement of a change in the leadership of the organisation. The news is entirely false, and the purported action that prompted the announcement is unconstitutional.
