Action Alliance Begins Membership Drive Ahead 2027 Polls

In a move to reposition the party for greater electoral fortune ahead of 2027 polls, the National Think Tank Committee (NTTC) of the Action Alliance (AA) has approved an update of the party’s membership register nationwide.

The register update will take place ahead of the party’s Local Government, Ward, State Congresses and National Convention.

The National Secretary of the Action Alliance, Vernimbe James, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

The AA National Secretary said that the exercise was pursuant to Electoral Act 2022 (as amended) and Action Alliance 2005 Constitution (as amended).

James said: “This important Exercise is scheduled to commence on the 18th, October, 2024 to 31st December, 2024 at the party’s Ward headquarters from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily excluding Saturday and Sunday.

“All State Chairmen are directed to ensure that eligible Nigerians of 18 years old and above willing to register with Action Alliance are given the opportunity to do so without delay.

“Party members across Nigeria and beyond are also directed to use this opportunity to revalidate your membership as only party members whose Names are on the membership Register of the party can participate in the upcoming party Congresses and National Convention.”
