‎Nigerian actress, Witney John, has publicly expressed heartbreak over an alleged betrayal involving a property she says she jointly acquired with her lover.
‎
‎Speaking out on the incident, the actress shared her emotional pain, recalling the trust and partnership they once had.
‎
‎“The man I trusted, the one I stood beside and built with,” she said, setting the tone for her distress.
‎
‎Witney disclosed that she spent eight years with him and gave all she had to him, lamenting that she would have been more famous than this, but she trusted him and tried to build her life and family with him.
‎
‎She went on to allege that the man whose name was not mentioned secretly took steps to alter the ownership documents for the land they purchased together. “He went back to reclaim the original receipt of the land we acquired together, only to erase my name and replace it with his alone,” she revealed.
‎
‎The revelation has sparked reactions, as the actress who spoke amidst sobs described the situation as a deep betrayal, leaving her feeling hurt and deceived over what she believed was a shared investment.
