Nigerian singer Olawale Ashimi, widely known as Brymo, has stirred fresh controversy after sharing a divisive opinion on relationships and accountability.
In a post on his Instagram page, the Tabula Rasa crooner suggested that men should not apologise to women when the latter are at fault, a stance that has since drawn criticism and sparked debate across social media.
Nobody deserves to suffer more than men who apologise to women when the women are wrong,” he wrote. “And suffer they will from here, and for the rest of humanity’s earthly existence.”
The remarks, widely described as misogynistic by critics, have triggered a wave of reactions from fans and commentators alike.
