During his lifetime, Justice Ayoola was also a former judge of the Supreme Court, former President of the Seychelles Court of Appeal, former Chief Justice of the Gambia, and former Vice President of the World Judge’s Association.

Adeleke stated that Justice Ayoola’s demise is a significant loss, not only to the Ayoola family of Ilesa but also to Osun State and the entire nation. He added that the late ICPC boss made Osun and Nigeria proud everywhere he went.

In a condolence message to the family by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the governor described Justice Ayoola as a true patriot, a hero of anti-corruption whose legacy will live forever.
