‘Aduda’s Senate Candidacy Renews Confidence In FCT Politics’

The Aduda Mandate Forum (AMF) has said the emergence of Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda as the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of the 2027 general elections has renewed confidence in the nation’s capital political future.

It described Aduda’s candidacy as a symbol of hope, experience and purposeful leadership.

In a statement yesterday, Comrade Mark Oboh, convener of AMF, said the victory was not merely a political milestone, but a profound affirmation of Senator Aduda’s enduring relevance, tested leadership capacity, and unwavering commitment to the democratic growth and development of the Federal Capital Territory.

“The people have once again spoken through the party, choosing competence, experience, courage, and a leader whose political journey has consistently been defined by service, sacrifice, and results.

“As former minority leader of the 9th Senate, Senator Aduda distinguished himself as a bridge-builder, a courageous parliamentarian, and a passionate advocate for justice, equity and the welfare of ordinary Nigerians.”

According to the forum, his emergence at this critical moment in the nation’s journey rekindles hope among the people of the FCT, especially youths, women, grassroots communities and party faithful who believe in purposeful representation and inclusive governance.
