The Cranes are in Group C with the three-time African champions, Tunisia and East African rival, Tanzania.
Nigeria and Tunisia are pundits favourites to secure the first two positions in the group.
Aucho however said they are strong enough to compete with any team in the group.

‘Being at AFCON means you’re strong enough to compete with any team. I know my boys and they will deliver. We want to make our fans happy,” he was quoted by fufa.co.ug.

Paul Put’s men will open their campaign in Morocco 2025 against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Tuesday, December 23.

They will face Nigeria in their last group game on Tuesday, December 30.
