Africa Knowledge Systems has released the third episode of its Short Documentary Series titled on YouTube.
Announced by podcast and film producer at EbonyLife Creative Academy, Vincho Nchogu, the 11 minutes documentary features 88-year-old grandmother, Alhaja Ajiun Owoseni demonstrate cassava processing for Garri and its preservation method in south-west Nigeria.
The grandmother takes viewers on the step-by-step process of harvesting, fermentation of cassava into Garri for consumption.
Previous episodes of the video series released focus on How To Make Aso Oke – The Art of Weaving Fabric by the Yorubas in Nigeria, and A Palm Wine Tapper Shows How He Taps Palm Wine. Both episodes were released four and six months ago.
