TikToker Peller ‘Rescued’ After Kidnap

The Nigerian Police Force has reportedly rescued popular TikToker, Peller, who was abducted by unknown gunmen during a livestream on Wednesday, a close associate, Sandra Benede, has disclosed.

Peller was livestreaming on his way home when he was abducted.

Clips making the rounds online showed the moment Peller mistook the abductors for police officers beforebhe was forcefully taken away amid scream.

Friends and associates, including fellow content creator Tekunbi, rushed to the scene but only found his car and phone abandoned.

However, in a fresh update on Thursday morning, Peller’s colleague, Sandra Benede, confirmed in a live video that he had been rescued.

“They have seen him. The Police DPO have seen him o. They haven’t given details yet, but he has been found, Chudi said they’ve seen him,” Sandra said.

At the time of filing this report was filed, neither Peller nor the police has released an official statement on the incident.
