The African Continental Governor of the World Sustainable Development Goals Organisation (WSDGsO), H.E. Alhaji Yahya Muhammad Guregi, has extended his condolences to the Kenya Country Representative, H.E. Selly Manyala, following the death of his mother.
Governor Guregi described the loss as a deeply painful experience, noting that the bond between mother and child is unmatched. He urged Manyala and his family to take comfort in the memories and love they shared with her.
Speaking at the WSDGsO continental headquarters in Kigali, Rwanda, Guregi hailed the late matriarch as a remarkable woman who touched many lives through kindness and dedication to her community.
He stressed that her legacy of compassion and service would live on, serving as a guide for future generations.
“This is not only a loss to the family but also to the wider community she influenced,” Guregi said. “Let us unite in offering comfort and strength during this period of mourning.”
The Governor called on WSDGsO representatives across Africa to rally around Manyala, sharing words of encouragement and solidarity in line with the organisation’s values of unity and support.
Guregi assured him that his mother’s legacy would be carried forward through the continued pursuit of sustainability and community development.
The WSDGsO reaffirmed its commitment to supporting members during personal and professional trials, pledging to uphold values of compassion, equity, and collective progress in memory of loved ones who shaped their lives.
