AfriGOpay Financial Services Limited has partnered strategically with Tango Brook Technologies Limited to launch the unified smart Tango Fuel Card, a technology-driven platform designed to transform fuel and fleet management in Nigeria.

According to the partners, the card enables customers to make payments at fuel stations nationwide while providing detailed reports, insights, and analytics to help users monitor fuel consumption, track mileage, and optimise costs.

During yesterday’s launch in Lagos, Obi Wemambu, managing director/chief executive officer of Tango Brook Technologies, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and accessibility. He explained that the fuel card offers real-time visibility into fuel usage, customisable limits, PIN protection, and built-in rewards for individuals and corporate organisations.

“The Tango Fuel Card transforms fuel management by giving businesses and individuals unmatched flexibility, security, and convenience. In partnership with AfriGO, we are introducing a future-ready intelligent solution for enterprises and individuals alike,” Wemambu said.

The chief executive officer of AfriGO, Dr Ebehijie Juliet Momoh, said the collaboration highlights both companies’ commitment to digital inclusion and transparency. She noted that the partnership will scale up digital adoption for businesses and individuals, contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth.

“AfriGO is proud to announce this strategic partnership with Tango Fuel. With this joint offering, users can seamlessly monitor fuel purchases, optimise consumption, and gain actionable insights through a unified, cashless experience,” Momoh said.
